Ganimed
GANIMED container

Ganimed airdrop container is designed for quick and safe delivery of rescue, medical and other teams to accident, disaster or natural calamity regions in transport fuselage.

Along with the people the container cabin can accomodate suitable equipment.

The container safe landing is carried out practically on any underlaying surface: forest, ruins, mountain - side, swamp, water.

The parachute system reduces the vertical landing speed to 6.5 m/s and the perforated air damper ensures of the container the steady speed cancellation up to zero without any repeat jumps that allows to place in the container the personnel having no parachute training.

MDB has worked out a container version with a controllable parachute system and water-jet propeller that will significantly increase the landing accuracy and operational abilities.

Radio control equipment installed in the container enables to carry out landing in automatic mode, or with ground - based guidance, or in the mode of manual control from the container cabin.

It is expedient to use Ganimed container with UPGS-500 cargo platform loaded with necessary equipment, with this the platform controlled with the same navigation equipment that Ganimed container is.
